Most issues are resolved by checking these Shopify-native steps:
- 1) Theme Editor → App embeds → ZenMerch → Save
- 2) Confirm you edited the Live theme (or the same theme customers view)
- 3) Confirm the product is targeted by a template
- 4) If still stuck: use Troubleshooting
How do I install and enable ZenMerch?
Install ZenMerch, then enable the ZenMerch app embed in Shopify Theme Editor (Online Store → Themes → Customize → App embeds → ZenMerch → Save). See the Getting started doc for the full checklist.
Does ZenMerch work with my theme?
ZenMerch is designed for Online Store 2.0 themes that support App embeds. If your theme doesn’t have App embeds, it’s likely a vintage theme—switch/upgrade to an OS 2.0 theme.
Why isn’t the personalizer showing on my product page?
Most commonly: the app embed isn’t enabled (or not saved), you edited a different theme than the live theme, or the product isn’t targeted by a template. Start with the Troubleshooting doc for the step-by-step checks.
Where does the personalization data appear?
ZenMerch records personalization into the order item’s custom fields and makes it easy to review in the ZenMerch Orders page. Paid plans can export CSV and send webhooks for fulfillment workflows.
How do I get support?
Use the contact form on zenovee.com/contact or email support (listed in the footer). Include your myshopify.com domain, theme name (Live vs Draft), an example product URL, and screenshots of App embeds + ZenMerch settings.
How do webhooks work?
Set a Webhook URL in ZenMerch Settings → Notifications, then use “Send test webhook” to verify delivery. Your endpoint should be a publicly reachable HTTPS URL and respond with a 2xx status.
How do I uninstall ZenMerch?
Disable the ZenMerch app embed in Theme Editor (App embeds → ZenMerch → Save), then uninstall ZenMerch from Shopify admin → Apps.
